Summary Of Changes For KityCrylics Discord
Discord Changes & New Rule Implementation as of April 4th, 2026.
What a start to the year—seriously!
First, thank you to everyone who has joined and contributed to the server. The growth has been fast, and while that’s exciting, it also means we need to make adjustments to keep things sustainable, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
As the server grows, so does the complexity of managing it. After reviewing feedback, mod workload, and long-term scalability, we’re implementing the following changes:
SELF PROMOTION CHANNEL: CANCELLED
After careful consideration, we will not be moving forward with a self-promo channel, and are no longer permitting self promotions within the server going forward.
Why?:
- Creates a high risk of spam and content overload
- Increases moderator burden due to policing content shared within the server
- Creates fatigue for members over time
At our community size, this type of channel is unsustainable and shifts focus away from the core purpose of the server, which is for members to connect over their love of Noopy and similar hobbies and interests, and to be in the loop on Noop!
FOR SALE CHANNEL: DISCONTINUED
The original intent of this channel was to allow members to rehome lightly used items casually. However, at our current size, it has become difficult to manage safely and consistently.
To prevent issues like rule-breaking, confusion, and moderation strain, the general “For Sale” channel has been discontinued effective immediately. Any pending transactions or sales should be handled in DMs. After April 18th, the channel will be removed.
NEW: KITYCRYLICS-ONLY REHOME CHANNEL (COMING SOON)
We will be introducing a more structured, limited channel specifically for rehoming KityCrylics-related items only (such as Noopy plush).
This channel will follow a strict posting format, with clear rules for safety and clarity.
If you prefer more flexibility, you’re always welcome to use third-party platforms like Mercari, Depop, etc. Please note however that sharing the links in the server will not be permitted.

FAQ:
Q. What if I have an ISO for a Noopy plush?
A. With the upcoming Rehome channel, members who post will be required to honor the ISO wishlist first. Members who are pinged will have up to 24 hours to respond to the ping and either claim or pass on the adoption.
Q. What If I have a Noopy plush that has been modified?
A. You must state the nature of the modifications done for transparency. Members are not permitted to ask for reversal of modifications, and the seller is not required to reverse the modifications to the plush being offered.
Q. What if I don't want to sell it in the server?
A. Members who choose to rehome their Noopy plush are not required to sell in the server, and you are welcome to sell on other third party websites such as Mercari. Just note that selling in the server will require a selling format to be followed.
SERVER SETTINGS UPDATE:
- New members are now no longer spammed with notifications across all channels upon joining the server.
- Members now must enable notifications per channel, allowing a fully customizable server experience. Users are still encouraged to utilize roles to help them get notified about what is important to them!
These decisions come with careful consideration and valuable feedback received from multiple outlets and members, and they are necessary to the longevity of the health of the server.
Community Etiquette & Rule Updates:
We ask that members be mindful of how we discuss shop items within the server.
While we understand that similar items (like accessories or add-ons) can sometimes be found elsewhere, please avoid redirecting others to outside alternatives when they are showing interest in KityCrylics products (products for sale on the website).
KityCrylics is a small, independent brand ran by one sole person. Not big corp, no team of employees, no private jets, etc..
Even small add-on items like charms and trinkets help support restocks, future designs, and the ability to continue creating.
When someone is excited about an item Kity is offering and the conversation shifts to “you can get it cheaper elsewhere,” it can unintentionally discourage support and disrupt that moment for a small business who is seeking to provide a product based on customer demand.
You’re always free to shop wherever you prefer, this simply helps keep the space respectful of the creator and the community that it supports.
If a member is found to be discouraging support of items Kity is actively seeking to provide, they will be asked to refrain. Further occurrences will result in message removal.
FAQ:
Q. What if the item is an item Kity doesn't sell? (such as plush clothing, doll accessories, etc)
A. We love supporting other businesses or creators who sell plush clothing and accessories (such as labubu or kpop idol dolls). This change is directed towards undercutting of small goods offered on Kity's website. Examples include: Carabiners, phone charms, necklaces, lanyards, etc.
Discussion of Order Issues Within The Server:
If you experience any issues with your order, please reach out to me directly via email, not within the server. Sharing of order issues or order details are no longer permitted within the server.
Order issues are best handled privately so they can be resolved efficiently and without unnecessary confusion. Posting them publicly can delay resolution and unintentionally create misunderstandings, and risk creating false speculations from other members.
How to contact Kity:
Email is the best way. Replying to your order confirmation email is the fastest.

AS A REMINDER...
This server consists of a small mod team who have obligations and jobs outside of their activity within the server, and maintaining this space responsibly requires us to set boundaries that scale with growth. The goal is to keep this server safe, organized, enjoyable, and sustainable long term. While we have received inquiries about joining our mod team, at this time adding another mod to our team is not feasible. We greatly appreciate the interest from those who have offered!
We understand some of these changes may be disappointing, but they are necessary for the health of the community as a whole. It continues to be a true honor to see the growth of our community, and we greatly appreciate the continued support and understanding of our members, customers, fans, and family and friends.
