Fan-Made Merchandise Policy

As Noopy and the brand grow, protecting the integrity of Noopy and NoopyNu is essential.

Please do NOT create, sell, or distribute physical fan-made Noopy merchandise without explicit permission.

This includes:

  • Selling items that are fan-made/fan curated using any of the Magical Noopy or NoopyNu characters
  • Giving fan-made or fan-curated items away publicly or to community members
  • Producing physical goods that replicate or closely resemble Noopy
  • Any fan-made product or item using the official KityCrylics or Magical Noopy/NoopyNu logo, the Magical Noopy name, etc

The primary reason for the change is even well-intentioned fans who create personal items can ultimately cause confusion about what is official or created with authenticity/permission from Kity, and risk a snowball of unauthorized merchandise spreading throughout the community (and risking bootleg merchandise surfacing!). 
This can also impact the integrity of the brand and create unnecessary stress and discomfort amongst members and loyal fans. 

FAQ: 

Q: Can I draw Noopy?
A: Yes, please do! I love seeing your creations! Just credit/tag @magicalnoopy / @kitycrylics.

Q: Can I print my drawing?
A: Yes, for personal use only, not in a public setting.

Q: Can I sell or give away something I made?
A: No. This is not permitted, as it creates confusion about what is official.

Q: Can I make my own plush because I can’t afford one?
A: You’re encouraged to be creative, but replicating or copying Noopy directly is not allowed. Additionally, using the Noopy name or trademark logo is not permitted.

Q: I crochet / sew small plush clothing that fits Noopy plush, is this allowed?
A: Yes, of course. Noopy is a small plush that has a large variety of options for third party costumes and accessories that fit his body. We do not consider customized clothing or doll accessories to be part of the restriction when done in good faith.
